Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social platform saying that the United Kingdom — which he described as “our once great ally, maybe the greatest of them all” — is now considering sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East.
Trump added that the move is unnecessary, saying the U.S. no longer needs their support and that the war has effectively already been won. He concluded by saying the United States doesn’t need allies who join conflicts after the victory is already secured, but added that Washington would remember the decision.
