A satirical website is making waves online, urging Donald Trump to send his youngest son into military service as families across the country voice concern about growing conflict.

 

The site, DraftBarronTrumpcom, was created by Toby Morton, a former South Park writer known for political parody. Using mock patriotic language and spoof quotes, it pushes the idea that leadership should begin at home. The hashtag “SendBarron” has since trended on X, sparking debate over whether political leaders’ families should serve if military action expands.

 

Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing U.S.–Israel air campaign involving operations against Iran, has resulted in four American service members losing their lives, with others seriously injured. President Trump acknowledged the losses and warned the toll could rise.

 

Online discussions have also resurfaced Trump’s Vietnam-era draft deferments. As for Barron, 19, there’s no indication he has sought to enlist or been evaluated, and there is currently no draft in effect.
