A vocal group on X argues that Hudson spent the entire press tour playing up gay innuendos while knowing full well he was in a straight relationship.

 

They point out that his entire public persona has been built on queer-coded chemistry with costar Connor Storrie – and that feels deliberate to them.

 

But plenty of fans pushed back hard, pointing out that Hudson never once defined his sexuality publicly, that bisexual people exist, and that real humans – unlike fictional characters – don’t owe anyone a declaration of their identity.
