Because of Her Manners, a Stranger Covered Our Meal—A Moment I’ll Never Forget

I took Ella out to eat tonight, for a Mommy and Ella date at Applebee’s and was trying to get my bill to come up on their little tablets after we had boxed our leftovers, well it wouldn’t come up. I proceeded to call over the waiter (who was awesome) to ask and he told me that someone had paid for our meal. I asked who so I could thank them. He said he couldn’t tell me who, but an older gentleman at a booth behind us. I asked if I could give him something or a tip, he told me the man covered it all very appropriately. The gentleman said to tell me that he had never seen such a polite, well mannered child at a dinner table in all his life. I feel very humbled and bless to have such a great girl!!! DEFINITELY A PROUD MOM MOMENT & I will be paying it forward!!!
