Melissa Dohme from Florida was just 20 years old when her ex boyfriend, Robert Lee Burton, launched a frenzied knife attack on her outside her home, slashing her hands, arms, face and neck. In total she was st*bbed 32 times.
Thankfully Melissa survived and went on to recover from the horrific ordeal.
One of the paramedics that helped save her life was Cameron Hill. The pair met for a second time at a speaking event in 2012, they exchanged numbers and started dating.
In 2015 Cameron proposed and two years later the couple tied the knot.
