A 98-year-old woman from Kentucky recently shared a very special moment with her family when she met her great-great-great-granddaughter for the first time. Cordelia Mae Hawkins, lovingly called MaeDell, held seven-week-old Zhavia Danielle during a family visit to her nursing home on February 19. The visit brought together six generations of women, making the moment even more rare and meaningful.
Zhavia is MaeDell’s second great-great-great-grandchild, but her first great-great-great-granddaughter. Family members said MaeDell was excited and happy to see everyone together. During the visit, when the baby became a little fussy, MaeDell calmly asked to hold her, showing her natural love and care.
The family captured the moment in a photo featuring six generations of women—all girls. They described it as a powerful and emotional gathering that celebrated family, love, and a remarkable legacy passed down through generations.
