Transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney addressed the policy change during an appearance on CBS Mornings, saying, “I’m a woman no matter what my passport says.” The executive order directed federal agencies to recognize biological sex on official identification documents, reversing gender marker policies introduced during the Biden administration.

Mulvaney had previously updated her passport to list “F” as her gender in early 2024, but the new policy reversed that change. She also responded to discussions framing transgender people as a threat, noting that they make up less than one percent of the population. Her comments came while promoting her memoir, Paper Doll: Notes from a Late Bloomer.

Mulvaney first gained national attention through her TikTok series “Days of Girlhood,” which generated more than one billion views. In 2023, a Bud Light promotion featuring her led to a consumer boycott that reportedly reduced Anheuser-Busch’s revenue by more than 10 percent. Her recent remarks about the passport policy have again sparked debate across social media.
